OAYHA Board of Directors
Board members are elected by the membership to a two year term. All officers of the board (President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer)and board members are 100% volunteer positions. Anyone interested in volunteering or learning about any opportunities to become involved with the club should email the OAYHA Secretary.
Association Impact
- Player and coach registration
- Practice and dry-land scheduling and contracts
- Establishes the budget and fundraising requirements
- Implements policies and programming that follow rules and initiatives laid forth by WAHA and USA Hockey.
- Maintains a large amount of playing equipment, including jerseys, practice equipment, and goalie equipment for our kids
- Provides regular communication to families
- Plans and coordinates regular season games
- Plans and coordinates home tournaments, including state tournaments
- Player and coach recruitment: advertising and conducting Try Hockey For Free (THFF) events
